Team ICO attended a Team Battle Challenge held in Swindon, Whiltshire.
The ICO Team consisted of young hungry fighters Moses Bogle, Kyeran Cox, and Weston Bogle.

All 3 fighters were on top of their game taking the first fight with 2 wins and 1 draw that took them into the final against SMAF.
ICO were victorious once again with another 2 win 1 draw result to win the fight night out right.

Well done to Jason and the lads, and thanks to Jason O Grady for holding this great night of the champions event.

Team ICO are noew looking forward to the next challenge.

Mr Ed Byrne takes up the role of National coach for our semi-contact England squad.

Ed asked for the job and showed real drive and desire to make the ICO squad strong and productive,

Ed takes over the role from Sam Timmis who has now moved onto the sport Thai boxing and no longer can commit time to the role we wish Sam all the very best for the future and thank him for his efforts.

Eds role will consist of holding national squad training sessions, squad selection, and coaching on International events.
We wish Ed all the very best in his new role.

ICO involved in historic talks :
Senior members of the ICO attended a meeting yesterday to discuss the creation of the BRITISH KICKBOXING COUNCIL which would act as a gouvorning body to kicboxing.

The meeting was chaired by members of the RAF who themselves were members of the RAF martial arts association and acted as an independent body to try and bring unity to kickbxing for the good of the sport and for the sake of future generations.

Many associations and organisations attended from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
All discussions were amicable and everyone seemed to be focused on a common goal.

ICO are willing to work without polatics along side other associations to achieve this goal and massive steps forward were taken at this meeting towards the unification and recognition of kickboxing in Great Briton.

Our guys travel out in Feb to officiate a number of Arab kickboxing Title fights all expenses paid and i am confident they will do a great job for our friends in that part of the world.

ICO sanction Pro & Am World & European Titles in France on the 11th sept 2010 we are also sanctioning English and British Titles in Derby England on the 19th Sept 2010 this is an area ICO will be expanding in the future now more and more countries are joining us and we are getting more and more enquiries here in this country.
